Last updated: April 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PokéGurus, which is operated by Grizzly Innovations LLC doing business as PokéGurus, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website, sign in with Google, browse cards, use insights, interact with Chase Mode or Chase Odds, manage your vault, request shipping, purchase store credit, or otherwise interact with the platform.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • account information, such as username, email address, Google account identifier, display name, and profile settings;
  • profile and operational information, such as shipping name, shipping address, phone number, support communications, and marketing preferences;
  • transaction information, such as store credit activity, vault actions, game activity, redemptions, and shipment requests;
  • technical and usage information, such as IP address, device type, browser type, referral data, session identifiers, approximate activity timestamps, and pages or features used;
  • security and integrity information, such as CSRF/session signals, request metadata, anti-abuse indicators, fair-play verification records, and administrative review notes;
  • information we receive from payment providers, shipping partners, address validation providers, analytics providers, authentication providers, and market-data vendors; and
  • other information you provide directly to us.

2. Google Sign-In and Authentication Data

When you use Google sign-in, we may receive information such as your Google account identifier, email address, name, and email verification status. We use that information to authenticate you, create or link your PokéGurus account, help secure access, and operate account-related features.

Your use of Google sign-in may also be subject to Google's terms and privacy practices. If you save or verify a shipping address, we may also use Google Maps or Google Address Validation services to help validate and normalize that address.

3. How We Use Information

We may use your information to:

  • operate, maintain, and improve PokéGurus;
  • authenticate users and manage accounts;
  • provide card search, insights, Chase Mode, Chase Odds, vault, redemption, shipping, and store credit functionality;
  • process transactions, account actions, and operational events;
  • detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, duplicate activity, and security issues;
  • verify game integrity, reconcile inventory, investigate disputed actions, and maintain operational audit records;
  • populate card metadata, price charts, sold comps, grading signals, and population snapshots from internal and third-party data sources;
  • communicate with you about your account, support requests, or platform operations; and
  • comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of PokéGurus and users.

4. Product Data, Market Data, and Operational Records

PokéGurus uses internal and third-party data sources to support card metadata, prices, sold comps, population snapshots, analytics, and market-related features. These may include PriceCharting, GemRate, Pokémon Price Tracker, PSA, Pokémon TCG data/image sources, and other market or catalog providers.

We may match, process, cache, normalize, and store this information along with operational records such as pack openings, fair-play verification records, vault events, store credit changes, redemption events, and shipment requests to operate the platform, resolve disputes, and maintain integrity.

5. Cookies, Sessions, and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, sessions, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, maintain security, support CSRF/session protection, operate Google sign-in flows, measure activity, and improve the service. Your browser may allow you to limit certain cookies, but parts of the platform may not function properly without them.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information:

  • with service providers that help us operate the platform, such as hosting, analytics, payments, shipping, and authentication vendors;
  • when necessary to process transactions, ship requested items, or provide requested services;
  • with Google, Stripe, Shippo, database/hosting infrastructure providers, and card-data vendors to the extent needed for those services to function;
  • to comply with law, legal process, or government request;
  • to protect the rights, safety, and security of PokéGurus, our users, or others; and
  • as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising where we are legally required to treat that as a “sale” or “sharing” unless we disclose that practice and provide any required opt-out rights.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the platform, maintain business and operational records, preserve fraud/security/audit logs, resolve disputes, fulfill shipments, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, and protect the integrity of the service. Retention periods may differ by record type. For example, gameplay, vault, shipping, and transaction records may be retained longer than routine session data where needed for audit, financial, operational, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information and account data, including access controls, HTTPS in production, secret separation, and session/security protections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting access to your Google account, device, and browser session.

9. Your Choices

You may be able to access or update certain account information through your account settings. You may also contact us to request review, correction, deletion, or other handling of your information, subject to identity verification and applicable legal, operational, and security limitations. We may retain certain records where needed for legal, accounting, anti-fraud, security, operational, dispute-resolution, or compliance purposes.

If available in your account settings, you may also update marketing preferences. Transactional, security, support, and service-related communications may still be sent where necessary to operate your account or the platform.

10. Children’s Privacy

PokéGurus is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and address the issue.

11. Third-Party Services

The platform may link to or rely on third-party services and content, including Google sign-in, Google Maps/address tools, Stripe, Shippo, hosting providers, analytics tools, image hosts, PriceCharting, GemRate, Pokémon Price Tracker, PSA, Pokémon data providers, and external marketplace links such as eBay sold listings. Those third parties have their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, rate limits, and data-handling practices, and we are not responsible for them.

12. State and Regional Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain privacy rights under applicable law, such as rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. We will review and handle requests as required by applicable law and may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Some records may be retained or exempt from deletion where required or permitted for legal, security, fraud-prevention, financial, operational, or dispute-resolution reasons.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version becomes effective when posted unless we say otherwise. Your continued use of PokéGurus after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
